Guestbook

Our lodge is nicknamed "RuRu" after the original owners name for the lodge. It was once Pension RuRu, but as a result of it being bought by an Aussie family and renovated into a western style lodge, it was renamed Niseko Lodge (RuRu) ....

We still use the name RuRu around the village out of respect for the previous owners....

Previous Seasons:
2004-05 was our first year of operation as a western style lodge! We renovated with new beds, and a new lounge-room and dining area, wireless broadband internet and made RuRu a very cool place to stay in Hirafu Village.
We had the Voelkl Professional Snowboard Team stay with us for the lead up to the Toyata Big Air in Sapporo in 2005. We showed the boyz around the best stashes in Niseko.
We held the first Street Toboggan Championship with over 30 entrants!
We had Japanese cooking classes at the lodge with Sayuri, our fantastic host from Sapporo.
We have had groups from Australia, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Japan, China, Europe and a few pilots and crews from Qantas, Cathay Pacific & others....
We had restaurant visits, snowball fights, and daily Onsen visits ....
